Description of the Allen-Bradley 1336-FAN-SP5A
The Allen-Bradley 1336-FAN-SP5A is an assembly for Bulletin 1336 drives.
This unit is a cooling fan that mounts on the side of the heat sink of the 1336 Plus, Plus II, Impact, and Force drives. For use with G and H model hard drives.
About the 1336-FAN-SP5A
The 1336-FAN-SP5A is a replaceable cooling assembly that installs on Allen-Bradley’s 1336 Plus,
Plus II, Impact, and Force adjustable frequency AC drives from Allen-Bradley. The fan is mounted on the heatsink side of the Frame H and G drives.
It is a Class 3 component of the 1336 drive and is labeled FAN in the Troubleshooting Symbols Guide. a C-HB1 cap is included.
Outputs 250 HP, 300 HP, 350 HP, 400 HP, 450 HP, 500 HP, 600/650 HP, or Frame G drives and 700 HP drives.
One (1) of these assemblies is used per drive for 250 HP, 300 HP, 350 HP, 400 HP, 450 HP, 500 HP, 600/650 HP, or Frame G drives and 700 HP, 800 HP, or Frame H drives.
Since the entire 1336 drive has been phased out, this component has also been declared obsolete.
Since Rockwell Automation no longer manufactures this product, this part is only available as a spare part.
Fans are an important part of almost all compact units. The power dissipation of Rack G and Rack H drives ranges from the relative parameters to the fan performance.
can be found under drive parameter 70 (heat sink temperature). The minimum value for this parameter is 0. The maximum value is 255 degrees Celsius, but the drives operate at temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius.
In addition to the integrated fan, the hard disk’s environment can be properly maintained at the specified operating temperature by following the required mounting clearances and installing an appropriate climate control device.
It is important to note that the fan exhausts air from the hard disk, which means that hot air from the hard disk remains in the case.
An enclosure fan can be installed to pull air from the enclosure to continuously remove hot air from outside the panel.
The Allen-Bradley 1336-FAN-SP5A Heatsink Fan Replacement Kit with Fan Capacitor is for the
Allen-Bradley 1336 Plus, Plus II, Force, Impact, and Force Frame G and
H adjustable AC drives (known as Fan 2). It provides cooling and temperature control for the drive.
The package includes a fan with leads, sealant, a connector with leads, 2 fittings, and a grommet.
The 1336-FAN-SP5A replacement fan is mounted on the side of the www.ge-drive.com drive heatsink near the bottom of the inverter enclosure.
The 1336-FAN-SP5A heatsink fan kit can be securely installed on the hard disk by following these steps:
(1) disconnecting power from the hard disk, (2) routing the wires from the kit assembly through the hard disk opening, (3) installing the supplied grommet in the fan wire opening.
(4) connect the fan wires together using the supplied lugs, (5) connect the fan connector (harness) and secure the fan cover to the fan using the supplied captive screws.
(6) Apply the supplied sealant to the wires at the chassis holes to seal and prevent unwanted particles from entering, (7) Open the hard disk and monitor it for proper airflow.
The 1336-FAN-SP5A Side Radiator Fan Replacement Kit has an ambient operating temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius (32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit).
The ambient operating temperature range for the 1336-FAN-SP5A side radiator fan replacement kit is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius (32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit).
The ambient operating temperature range for the 1336-FAN-SP5A side radiator fan replacement kit is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius (32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit) with a relative humidity of 5% to 95% (non-condensing) and a storage temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius (32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit).
Storage temperature range is 0 to 50 degrees Celsius (32 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit).
