Description
Allen-Bradley PLC 5 high resolution TC/millivolt inputs, natural binary data format, 750 mA backplane current, no external power supply required.
The Allen-Bradley 1771-IXHR is a PLC 5 analogue input module. It is a high-resolution thermocouple/millivolt input module that
used to transfer input data words from its memory to the PLC processor’s data table and to transfer configuration words using block transfer programming.
The 1771-IXHR requires a slot in the 1771 I/O chassis and does not require an external power supply.
The 1771-IXHR module has eight floating differential inputs for thermocouple or millivolt input ranges.
Includes thermocouple types B, E, J, K, T, R, and S and ±100 www.ge-drive.com millivolts. Allows 8 inputs of the same type or allows 4 inputs of different types.
The 1771-IXHR includes cold-end compensation with an accuracy range of 0-60°C and ±0.5°C. It has selectable temperature scales of °C or °F with a temperature resolution of 0.1°C or 0.1°F and a millivolt resolution of 1µV.
It requires a backplane current load of 750mA at 5V and has a channel update time of 25ms per 8 channels.
Its wiring is connected to the 1771-WI field wiring arm, eliminating the need to disconnect the wiring when replacing the module.
The 1771-IXHR has a maximum power consumption of 4.255W and a maximum heat dissipation of 14.5 BTU/hour.
The keying strap must be placed between pins 20-22 and pins 24-26 to accept only this module.
The 1771-IXHR module has user-selectable high and low temperature alarms.
It contains a green RUN indicator and a red FLT indicator on the front panel to indicate power and fault status.
When powered on, it performs self-diagnostics and reports status.1771-IXHR provides open-circuit detection in the event of a thermocouple failure.
It automatically calibrates the offset and gain of each channel without potentiometers.
