The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1394C-SJT05-D module is a servo controller module.

This module is manufactured as part of the Allen-Bradley Bulletin 1394/1394C servo controller product line.

It is intended for use in industrial motion control systems that support multiple axes. the 1394C-SJT05-D Servo Controller Module uses logic power,

shunt power supplies, and input power supplies to operate because it has power connectors for all of these types of power supplies.

It also has relay outputs, analog outputs, and discrete inputs, as well as other connectors such as motor/auxiliary feedback connectors.

The 1394C-SJT05-D is a modular, multi-axis motion control drive system module rated at 5 kW.

Its unique design allows it to be used as an integrated motion control and drive system (GMC).

The system module is referred to as a SERCOS servo drive system, or analog servo drive system.

It provides a direct line connection (transformerless) for 360 V and 480 V three-phase input power.

The System Module* can be configured with up www.ge-drive.com to four axis modules, each of which interfaces with a motor. As a result, users gain significant savings in panel space and interconnections.

The 1394c-SJT05-D System Module also provides a digital servo drive system with a fiber optic digital network interface.

The module can be used as a speed or torque control system and can be quickly commissioned via the Allen-Bradley SERCOS interface module.

This system module provides access to auto tuning and startup prompts. It also offers the SCANport interface as its standard feature.

The system offers digital fault and diagnostic utilities as standard features; it concludes with current monitors, thermal overload detection and feedback signal monitors.

It also provides status LEDs for the system and axis modules, and status LEDs for axis links, motion boards and RIOs for GMC systems only.

The module is equipped with highly integrated surface mount circuitry and DSP-assisted processing. It also has improved ground termination on the SERCOS and axis modules.

It features digitally adjusted speed and current loop compensation to accommodate a wide range of system inertias.

The Allen-Bradley Servo Controller 1394C-SJT05-D is a series of enhancements with better ringing rates and SERCOS communications,

SERCOS network, 5 kW power rating, and 360-480 AC volts input voltage.
