Converts analogue field wiring from basic format to the 40-pin connector used on the CTI 2500 SeriesTM analogue I/O modules.
This allows for quick upgrades of existing 500 Series systems to the newer, more suitable 2500 SeriesTM.
Features
The 2500-ADP1 cable allows for the following conversions
field wiring:
– 500-5037A 8-channel analogue input connector to CTI 2558 8-channel analogue input 40F connector.
– 500-5047A 8-channel analogue output connector to CTI 2562 8-channel analogue output 40F connector.
Instructions
Method A – Installing a New Module into an Existing 500 Series I/O Adapter
Chassis
1. Disconnect power to the Series 500 chassis
2. Remove the 500-5037A/47A to be upgraded.
3. Install the 2500-IADP into the slot where the 500 module was removed.
