Data logger for medium voltage networks, transformers, capacitor banks, generators and motors.

The PQM is ideal when continuous monitoring of three-phase networks is required.

It measures current, voltage, real and reactive power, energy consumption, energy cost, power factor and frequency.

With programmable thresholds and 4 configurable output relays, control functions are available for specific applications.

These functions include simple over/under current or voltage alarms, unbalance alarms, load-related load removal/reset, and capacitor control for power factor correction.

Four digital inputs can be used for status such as breaker position, energy exchange information, etc. for more complex control.

The PQM can be used as a data concentrator for the production plant PLC, integrating process, instrumentation and power requirements.

All monitoring and control parameters can be communicated via 2 RS485 communication ports using the ModBus protocol.

If direct interconnection to the PLC is required, any monitored variable can be output through one of four isolated analog outputs.

Isolated Analog Outputs. Process variables can be measured using the analog inputs. The RS232 communications port on the front panel can be connected to a personal computer for simultaneous access to information by other personnel.

Production site. Due to the increase in electronic loads such as computers, ballasts or switching actuators, the quality of the power system is very important.

With PQM’s power analysis option, it is possible to display any current or voltage phases and calculat    e the harmonics contained therein.

By understanding the distribution of harmonics, measures can be taken to prevent transformers, motors, capacitors and neutrals from overheating and circuit breakers from tripping unexpectedly.

Redistribution of network loads can also be determined.PQM provides waveform recordings and graph printouts to help diagnose problems.
